Located in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood, Rosa Franklin Place includes 60 one-bedroom apartments for seniors, with an on-site community room and outdoor plaza for residents to gather. The project was designed to promote equitable transit-oriented development, enliven the pedestrian experience, enhance the quality of the streetscape, and contribute to the community revitalization of the MLK Jr. Way Business Corridor. The building serves seniors who are 62 years of age or older with half of the apartments affordable at 30% of area median income and the other half at 50% of area median income. Amenities include a ground-floor community room, lobby, lounges, and active resident services programming.
